"content": "I'm leaning pretty hard into the idea that there are a lot of truths revealed in \"fictional\" portrayals; one might view this as a manifestation of Jung's \"collective unconscious\", deep truths about the internal organization of the world dribbling out in fits and starts through cinema, games, music, fiction, the only realms where Man's mind is free to play and potentially unconstrained - a global social Rorschach test, if you will\n\nthere exist facts which cannot be described except in allegory\n\nthis is where that whole \"it's metaphysically true\" thing came from",
