ok, so based on feedback from my lovely regenerate.social people and others, i am doing some visioning *as if* structures could sprout up all over the place like mushrooms.
here are a few ideas:
1) a drying room, to dry out wet stuff. it could have clear roof and many places to hang wet stuff. it can also have shelves to dry wet dishes and containers. this room uses the power of the sun, so things that should be kept in darkness should not stay here.
2) a dark, dry room (not clear roof). for pantry, various dishes & food containers, bike storage, large tools storage. this is also a place where there can be shelves for plastic storage tubs (aka "containerized stuff").
3) carport. cars have a rough life in our area (extreme rain, bad roads, hot sun, critters, etc.)., so a carport can really extend the longevity of a vehicle. plus, a carport can hold solar panels on top, giving you light in that area.
those are my ideas so far. what do y'all think?
(for context, i live on the wet side of hawai'i island, so dry space is one of our top priorities)
