Thanks Nic for sharing this list of banned books that Scholastic is promoting! They group them by rationale, and I fully chortled at Goosebumps being banned for being “too scary”. When I was the target age, I thought those books weren’t nearly scary enough. What fucking babies these censors are.

(The other rationales are even more deranged, but Goosebumps being “too scary” lays it all bare. They’re going to keep adding more padding to the padded room until we all choke.)
