Some people like to say that The Bible is bullshit, that its all fabricated and that Jesus is a fictional construct or an amalgamation of other similar stories from various cultures throughout history. And to that I say so what? If you can read the Words ascribed to Him, that lessons He teaches, and The Path of Righteousness He lays out for humanity and not take anything from it to benefit your life, well all I can say is you are a hopelessly lost person who has some serious issues, most of which is likely a very high level of narcissism and an out of control ego. Humble yourself, read The Gospels with an open mind, even if you look at it as pure fiction. Trust me, it will change you for the better. That’s the exact mindset I had when I decided to first read it some years back for no other reason than intellectual curiosity. I didn't even finish Matthew, the first Book of the New Testament, and it just hit me like a brick. And from that moment on, a lot of things that had happened to me prior became crystal clear why they happened and that I was ignoring things I should have taken heed to. Give it a shot, what are you scared of?
