I've been working from home for many years now. I sometimes spend too long sitting at my desk, but other times I love getting up and doing other things while thinking about how to approach a problem or coming up with new ideas. It feels like pressing a 'Start Background Job' button on my thoughts. It's also one of the best ways to debug something.
