I feel like sometimes I'm living in an alternate world with my doctor. They always have same-day appointments for emerging issues (the one described in first toot would count! If we call about an adult they try to push us off unless it's a really serious, like when I tore a calf muscle, but they always make room for the kids), though you have to call right at open. And they're willing to fax renewals of prescriptions to your pharmacy via a phone call (if you call later in the day).
That said, my entire experience with them has been based on luck: saw they were accepting patients by chance when on a run past their old office location and we were assigned to a doctor that stayed in town (though moved further out) when the original clinic shut down.
We shouldn't need to be lucky to get care.
