Weeding in the garden today - stickyweed (Galium aparine) is a native plant but is incredibly invasive and a prolific seeder. The roots come up very easily when the ground is wet (a nor cal problem, I know). Don’t leave any nasty bits behind or it will return. The first leaves of this plant look like a lot of germinating seedlings and then the nasty whorl of doom appears. #gardening
