Just remember last year when setting #SELinux to enforcing mode it kept you out of your system. Missing bash and sshd made it impossible to login to the system on a local or remote session. Luckily, this got fixed after I filled bug reports just a few month later.

But maybe another approach could lead into providing an optional policy package like fedora-selinux for Debian - that way, other Debian based distributions could also benefit from this (and would avoid me to package this exclusively for a specific distribution).
