The Vikings had an over under of 6.5 wins for the season when the books opened on the season. They have went over that number by the greatest margin in history with one game remaining. Without Sam that doesn't happen.

Those other guys were expected to be good on good teams. What Sam has accomplished in his first year is more of an accomplishment than what those others have done. But the problem is most of these awards are a popularity contest so if Sam had done this with the Cowboys or an east coast team they would be talking about him and the Vikings nonstop. They only started really talking about him and the team in the last couple of weeks because they were forced to with them having so much success.

Those awards are a joke. KOC should also be a shoe in for the coach of the year.
