Yeah, I've been seriously questioning whether or not meshtastic is actually worth the hype it gets. I've been biking around town when I know there are at least 30 nodes in my area and despite being on the correct channel slot and having a proper antenna, I'm still not able to pick up anything.
Which is weird because apparently it was doing wonders for people in the recent floods that happened, getting people on mountains connected to people so they could get supplies.
