Left the city a couple years ago. We’ve been raising 100% of our pork and chicken in a way that makes us happy to feed it to our children. Not set up for cattle (yet) but we’re planning on getting a few sheep this year. Still trying my hand at gardening (it’s been a learning curve), but the results are coming along. We’ve got an orchard in its infancy that’s producing little more than berries at this point, but the percentage of our food we’re producing should be increasing annually from this point. Once you start taking control of your own food production, you really realize how simple life can be. (It tastes better too!)
