There is no privacy benefit vs. custodial node since Phoenix manages all your channels (which are direct to the ACINQ company nodes). There are also fees for liquidity management.
But it's good since it's self custody, you can easily recover funds even if Phoenix of ACINQ goes down. Very easy to use as well, almost Wallet of Satoshi level simplicity after the initial deposit. (Recommend starting with 300k minimum due to fees. Less than 300k and you'll essentially be overpaying.)
