Audrey Elizabeth Hale, a “quiet” 28-year old woman who had recently adopted a transgender identity and begun injecting testosterone, forced her way into a Nashville school yesterday in what police describe as a “targeted attack.”
“When a ‘trans’ person shoots up a school, considering their ‘gender identity’ is deemed to be irrelevant at best and bigoted at worst,” James Esses observes. “When a ‘trans’ person is killed, their ‘gender identity’ is not only relevant, it is the most important factor.”
All the calls for violence are coming from inside the house. The calls come from people who insist that words are harm, that their lives are somehow threatened by other people having opinions they dislike, and that this justifies their own violence. If we replaced the postmodernist pablum of ‘gender identity’ with any other kind of cult belief system, everyone would see this for what it is.
