David Szymanski does some fun indie horror stuff in Iron Lung and his Dread X entries. I do think the sort of indie horror scene now relies too much on just doing the "Ps1 VHS aesthetic" which is disappointing if you look at the visual variety in the dread x collections (even if all the games werent total masterpieces
