Boadee on Nostr: Tried to buy something from Canada yesterday, my banking institution blocked my card ...
Tried to buy something from Canada yesterday, my banking institution blocked my card from the transaction. After calling them and verifying my identity, with 2nd layer... they asked me to send them a copy of my driver license to prove my identity, so they could then unblock my card so I could buy something. "A lot of fraud" I was told. I smiled and told them I wouldn't be doing that and that I would come in the bank and do it in person (I have little patience but yelling is not a accepted form of communication). Lyn Alden posted today on this conditioning that's been happening for a longtime. Enough already. Are we there yet?
