Since I just listened to this STILL ANIMALS record again (see above post) as loud as I possibly could, wished it could go louder, and am seriously thinking about listening to it again, I have a few thoughts & gonna tag a few of y'all (even if you're not tagged and see this and check it out, lmk!)
This album is incredible. It has this raw rock and roll vibe, Ramones and early AC/DC hints but also maybe Kinks or Stones? A ridiculously good album, I don't even know how they did it. This is EPIC SONGWRITING and I could even tell from the rough demo I heard a while back. Track 10 here "Mindwater" was on it & is awesome- but EVERY track is amazing. The 8th track "Look Kool" was their single and (warning 😂 ) the damn song has been in my head for days, it's a total earworm.
