Yes, I've gotten trapped in people's attempt to avoid another npub's spam, by using some keyword they've suppressed (like recently "reply"), or being highly-active (by, for instance, running a script) during the same period of time that they were under attack. One reason I prefer smaller relays, is that I'm on their "allow list" and never get caught up in such measures.
