Things that annoy me: when people just automatically add soy sauce and sriracha to a dish, simply because ‘it’s Asian’. As if all Asian dishes are meant to taste like soy sauce and be spicy.
(I love both those things, and you can add whatever you want to any dish you want, but not all dishes from the many and various Asian cultures need to taste identical!)
