Yeah, I tried to do the same consent-driven approach to music videos as RFF is doing with audio, and it fell flat. Like five people submitted videos total. I was totally willing to go outside of the Fediverse, and reach out to indie artists as a whole. There is no lack of indie artists that have music videos, but it’s impossible to reach them, and even more impossible to get them interested enough to respond. I was disappointed that artists who want people to see their videos, and a place who wants to show them, couldn’t align.
