well what i did is exactly that except it happened at comptime, and it’s only one line, easier to read

this is true. i did what i did because
the params i set are so correct and/or otherwise common (especially the sample rate) that any error during that part is just very unlikely (i tested it just now in fact)
it’s easier to read those many lines that way
you’re right tho that ideally one should turn them into zig errors instead, but that’s for much later and for now they all just look like these instead lol
