Is this the nature of power itself? It corrupts people into the worst versions of themselves, to take on traits that we typically associate with masculinity? To play the game and get ahead, you lose a lot of feminine graces and sensibilities or masculine kindness and wisdom. I say this with great reverence for femininity and masculinity, and I think there is a difference between them which I am still trying to understand.
