You're right on all of this of course, but I think they made the right call by preventing the idea that niggers should get guns and kill as many white people as they could like malcom x wanted from becoming recognized and popular, as this prevented Mugabe types from doing any real damage. US blacks got all the things they asked for but they don't hate white people any less than they did then.
