I admire your goals of freeing yourself and damus (npub18m7…q955) from Apple’s boot, William

But at the same time you’re building out the Damus Notedeck that requires Damus Purple that cost 15,000 sats/month or 150,000 sats/year, the original and free Damus has a worse UX than ever before.

Everytime I open damus (npub18m7…q955), the app is extremely laggy and slow, and it takes forever until I’m able to push the buttons I want.

Therefore, after using Damus for two years on the SatoshiConsult (npub1rzn…r4ly) business identity, I’ve now replaced damus (npub18m7…q955) with YakiHonne (npub1yzv…rf8q) on iOS, and Nostur (npub1n0s…k6h0) on MacOS.

I hope Damus gets enough funding for co-workers and developers so that the original and free damus (npub18m7…q955) gets usable again.
