Because of the environmental activist lunatics, who are trying to deny that we are a Technological Civilization. It is because of the tree-hugger fuckers who are not capable to deal with the real issues, so they are hell-bent on involving millions of ordinary citizens who are even less capable to address the real issues.
This is not even "politics", because not even politics is able to change the Laws of Physics. This is about you and I not convicting and putting these morons in mental institutions.
