Love to celebrate the start of #Iditarod by plugging the August Fund for sled dogs! I got Mr. Pilot from them in 2020 and he’s been the absolut best boi in the entire universe. He was bred for racing but he opted out of his Alaska Iditarod kennel by simply laying down on training runs & refusing to move. He does love being active with us, just *on his terms* lol

The August Fund is rad & ensures all the sled dogs who retire or don’t work out find good care & homes
