A friend is looking for examples of Linked Data that model time series and tabular data. Are there substantial examples of that?

I never had much experience with this when I was more involved in Linked Data, and always thought that verbose modeling of lists made it difficult? Even CSV on the Web didn't seem to open that can of worms?
