So I made the slightly unreasonable decision to bring my 4" telescope with me from Edmonton to #durango Mexico for #eclipse2024. And as much of a PITA as it has been to drag around, I'm so glad I took the trouble, as it created an even greater communal experience as so many lovely people observed the eclipse thorough my modest little scope. 10/10 would do again!
