#Finland court rejected #Ukraine extradition request of #Russia neo-Nazi Yan Petrovsky and ordered his release from prison. The court rejected extradition request claiming “conditions in Ukrainian prisons”.
P.S. when he was arrested back in summer, I pointed out a few times that public display of murderous instincts and joyful discussions on “what we’re going to do to him when we get him” will be an excellent present for Petrovsky’s defence lawyers
P.P.S. while he’s going to be released and likely return to Russia, the arrest isn’t without consequences - firstly, it gave some publicity to the war crimes committed by savages from “Rusich” and the prominent presence of neo-Nazis in Russian armed forces; secondly, Petrovsky - and his wife - likely learned an important lesson on both EU not being entirely toothless, but also on the rule of law.
