A thing that feels mildly unfortunate about the process of coming out as #trans and (re)discovering oneself, is the number of friends who seem to drift away.

The proper fkn transphobes weren't really friends, so those were no great loss.

Then there were the cringetastics who became painful to behold and awks to speak with.

Those who didn't want to know me once I was no longer a source of gossip and pity were a bit argh. Sorry to discover some boundaries I guess?
