FWIW, if, like doubtless many others, you have problems upgrading because of Unifi by default insisting on insanely old versions of MongoDB (and the way Mongo was dropped like a hot potato by all the distros when their changed their licence), I recommend building a new controller using GlennR's (
https://glennr.nl/) excellent installer script which actually gives you Mongo 7 with Unifi 8.1 on your current OS.
