When it comes to desktop, it's obvious that Linux is the best of all desktop OS that exist. I personally use and recommend Linux Mint, Cinnamon edition.
Linux can do thing that Windows and macOS can't do. I really don't get why do people prefer Windows and macOS over Linux and even make apps for it.
Like, why not Linux? It's the best of all OS that exists!
But it becomes quite hard when it comes to OS recommendation for mobile phones in this era.
You have Android and iOS. And you gotta detect which one is better and why.
Sure, for sure I know, each of you will take each side for each OS, and I do know why: for some of you, iOS is the best choice and that's true, because you want to think less about setting up everything after you bought the phone. You just want to buy a phone, log in with your account, and start using it with no issues. So, when you're saying that iOS is the best, you're truly right, because what you say is true.
On the other hand, most people will insist that Android is the best OS - and guess what? - they're right too!
Yes, Android is quite different from iOS by many perspectives, yet still a good majority of people prefer Android instead of iOS.
I do not want to debate whether iOS or Android is the best, but this Youtube Short - https://www.youtube.com/shorts/-CnsQsKCjL0 - makes me want to prefer Android more.
Yea, I heard lots of rumors that women will refuse to date you if you're using Android and not iOS, and I didn't believed that until I saw a direct confirmation for this in that YouTube Short. Android had saved that guy :-)
So, in my case, I don't care, if you, my reader, is using Android or iOS - you made the best choice of your own and I will not even dare to say otherwise. You like iOS? That's fine. You like Android? That's fine too!
In my case, I'm just trying to be friendly with everybody.
For example, I prefer Android. Does that makes me an Apple hater? No. Do I hate iOS? No, I love it!
Do I hate Android? No. Am I saying that Android is the best choice? The answer depends on what type of person are you are and what do you want from your phone.
Because if I say that Android is the best choice, iOS users will argue with me, saying iOS is the best choice. And guess what? They're right!
Same goes if I say that iOS is the best choice, and for sure Android users will question this a lot, to make the point that Android is the best choice. Once again, they're right.
Look, there many types of people. If you're an Android user, congrats and be friendly with an iOS user.
Same goes for you, an iOS user, since you prefer an iPhone, be friendly with the person who prefer Android instead!
Each of you made a decision. You have some requirements for your phone, and - congrats! - you did found the phone of your dream. You made the perfect choice!

I really hate seeing Android users making fun of iPhone users and I as well hate when iOS users make fun of Android users.
Yes, when Apple releases a feature that Android had for years, iPhone users are like "poor Android users, they don't have that feature!".
If you're that type of person, I'm telling you: Android can do EVERYTHING and can be EVERYTHING. Android, dear iPhone user, is made for these type of people who want features, features that they need on a daily basic, even if not on a daily basic, Android is made for all type of people, including for you. It is possible to use Android like iOS.....Android for a smartphone is just like Linux for desktop!
I know, you might be confused, which Android phone to choose. As of 2024, many Android companies are trying their best on copying iOS and Apple by all means - some even go further then that! - and so, you might be interested in companies like Samsung and Nothing - say, if you want an Android but like an iPhone, these companies are doing the exact same thing! Nothing Phone 2 and 2a perfectly copy iPhone's front screen and have rounded edges just like an iPhone does. Nothing as well offers Nothing Ears (Ear, Ear(1), Ear 2 and Ear (A)) and even their own watch which is CMF watch by Nothing. They have their own ecosystem (except that they're an early new company and don't offer a monitor or a tablet). Check about all of that at https://nothing.tech - who knows, maybe you'll want one!
Samsung has different series of Android smartphones - and believe me - they're PERFECTLY copying Apple by ALL means. Every feature Apple has, every device that Apple offers - they have it, trust me. Just go to their website - https://samsung.com - and you'll understand that PERFECTLY.
Anything you will be concerned about any feature and any device that Apple offers - Samsung offers EVERYTHING that Apple has. Samsung has their own ecosystem.
And I can continue about that more and more. Mi ( https://mi.com ) is one of these companies who aren't just copying Apple from Apple's early days - at the same time, yeah! - but they're one of these companies who i say even went even further then that. Example: back in a day Apple had an idea of releasing their own Apple car, but then they re-considered doing so and declined the project. Mi did released their own car. And yes, they copied EVERYTHING of Apple with their own alternatives.
Name me, like name me, name me ANYTHING you like about Apple and I can 100% assure you that Mi and Samsung has that feature or that device.
But if you had read that far, congrats!
Now, if you're reading and you're an Android user, and you're about to promote and shout that Android is better then iOS - uh, young cowboy, I would like to ask you to hold on and continue reading further.
So, you think that Android is better then iOS, right? OK.
What if I tell you, that althrough you're using an Android device, you're, uh, without realizing that,...you're already using an iPhone? Let me explain.
So, you see, in USA - is the country where I live and I'm sure in many else countries - an iPhone is a popular choice. Apple is really goddamn popular on here! But Android companies exist in entire world, including USA as well.
SO, companies on here are really trying their best on copying Apple.
Let me guess - you're telling me you're using a Google Pixel, right? Well look once again at your phone. Pay attention the back of your phone. See that grey "G" letter? If you know the way iPhones look on the back, you know they have Apple's logo on the back. Doesn't that tells you something? Doesn't it connects all the dots?
Yes: Google copies Apple.
Like I said earlier, Samsung and Mi and Nothing are as well copying Apple really hard.
So, to summarize that, if you're using an Android, you already know what is it like to use an iPhone even if you never tried an Apple product before.
For example, I use Mi's Xiaomi Redmi 6. It will be easy for me to switch from it to an iPhone. Why?
Because, I used Mi's phones for years, starting around 2016-2017-2018, and I learned how it works. Since Mi is copying Apple, I perfectly is compatible with iPhone's battery life, camera, OS that it uses and etc. I never used an iPhone or Apple product in my life (except for a MacBook, when I used to go to school back in day) but I can easily say already that I know what it feels like to use an iPhone without ever using an iPhone but using Mi's phones for example.
Unless Android companies, or better called, manufactures will stop copying Apple by all means, don't even dare to say that Android is better then iOS - if you're using an Android device, I promise you 100% that you're using a copy of an Apple product. If you buy any else companies's earbuds - I promise you, they're clearly 100% copying Apple's Airpods.
To summarize, both Android and Apple users should be friendly with each other, respect each other, respect each other's preferences, and, if you really want so bad to recommend to someone an iPhone/Android, you don't have to to try your best on shaming that someone's already preference. Just explain why is the phone that you recommend is better and do that ONLY if the person asked you. You wouldn't appreciate it if someone unexpectedly would come to you and try their best on "proving" that you made the worst choice, would you?
One more point to say. If you think that because of person's preference to Android/iPhone means that they're knowledgeless, think twice about that before making a statement about someone's knowledge. I'm sorry, and I hate to break it to you, but a person's knowledge NEVER depends on the device they own - and yes, that applies to both Android and iPhone users!
An Android user might be dumber then an iPhone user.
AND, an iPhone user might be dumber then an Android user!
That law had always stayed for CENTURIES. Think about that: were people knowledgeless when Internet didn't exist? Say, in 19th century and lower?
A lamp was invented. The person who invented it didn't had ANY device that we do have today. Yet, that person implemented something useful for us today, didn't he?
And he didn't owned a smartphone or a computer/monitor. See?
Stop shaming each other!!!!! Each of you made a perfect, balanced choice that perfectly fits your needs!!!!!!!!
Hey, you, yes you, an iPhone user. Can you please be friendly to an Android user and respect their choices and preferences? Thank you.
Hey you, an Android user, can you please be friendly and respect iPhone user's preferences and choices? Maybe even be a friend to them? How about that?
Respect each other!
