I haven't read the book, but I 100% agree with the points you raised. Mirrors my own experience in IT and the corporate sector.
Before today I'd never heard of Corporate Feminism, but it's the term that so perfectly defines what I've been trying to put my finger on while asking, "it's something but why is it so weird and useless to me as a professional woman?"
Was particularly moved by the question "what do we /do/ with diversity?"
AI and data has attracted a lot of women, some young some older. And it's great to work together as a diverse team. But when the objectives and requirements of the projects we work on are decided by "same as always" stakeholders, the opportunity for change and betterment will always limited.
Your article has got me thinking and I'll probably be thinking about this for a while.
Thank you!! 💜
