Oh, well. What could you expect from the persons who were raised in batches of 10 or so? Who had to share small cabin with their siblings. Who had to take turns to go to school while they had only one or two pairs of shoes at the winter. Who got nothing from their parents but endless hunger. Who taught their children to respect food, if the morning porridge was not eaten it was put in the fridge and served as lunch, cold. Whose parents went through WW II and had their emotional disabilities. Who had their own shortcomings of life.
I was raised by boomers, not expecting anything from them and not providing anything for them as well. They had their wish to be independent, till their end of life.
