npub1slstdcssgln3r6t6wedquf77zraxyarveyacae6ny4v4jwz679dsvdyr9t (npub1sls…yr9t) These are mostly from those “new beds”, ie dumped grass clippings from last year plus some chicken and elg manure. They performed by far the best in squash/pumpkins. Btw the huge squashes on the left were well hidden under the foliage down the hill. The grey pumpkins (Nelson) are damaged by slugs but they have good skin and still store well.
Honestly, it looked very bleak with the pumpkins but then suddenly, despite the rain and cold, they began to grow again at the end of august 🤷🏻‍♀️
