Mozilla is moving into the “privacy-preserving ad measurement” philosophy, whereas Vivaldi is opposed to any such practice.
I’m not an expert in how effective Mozilla’s fingerprinting protections are - it appears to be just a blocklist. My Vivaldi/FF results on amiunique.org/fingerprint are nearly identical.
