"It is not freedom so that you can be an asshole where you impose harassment on people."

Yeah, that's where you lost me.

Freedom includes the freedom to "be an asshole."
It also includes the freedom to ignore an asshole. You don't get one without the other.

And precisely WHO DECIDES what constitutes 'being an asshole' in any given moment?
The British Empire thought Gandhi was an asshole.
The FBI thought Martin Luther King was an asshole.
The CIA though JFK was an asshole.
And I'm reasonably certain that the NSA think Snowden, Assange, and Manning are ALL assholes.

And exactly how does one "impose harrassment on people"?
If you're talking about posting replies or rebuttals someone doesn't like, or people calling others nasty things via a keyboard...again - you've lost me.

I've grown weary of people espousing what ultimately amounts to a very thin veneer of belief in freedom of speech.
That's just not how this whole 'freedom' thing works.
You do NOT have a right to never be offended.

"If you deny to anyone else the right to say what you think is wrong, it will not be long before you will lose the right to say what you think is right. Defense of the freedom of others is self-defense. Voltaire stated this fact as a genius can: 'I wholly disagree with what you say and will contend to the death for your right to say it.'"
