relays that can tolerate no auth to limit spam have huge problems with spam, are constantly deleting data randomly, some even just zero the whole database like jb55 aka will aka damus dev's relay

the fact that after over a year of me trying to get some movement towards actually supporting auth properly we are still in a situation where the only reason why my relay isn't being used properly by a lot of clients is auth, i just fucking can't

so that's why i'm forging ahead with forking the protocol, or more exactly, building out a simpler, easier to program, less complicated version of everything that is already in nostr, but that makes AUTH a first class citizen because it's completely impossible to run a freely writeable server on the internet, since, idk... fucking 1999
