This might be the first time in *a couple of decades* that I’ve gone into a Final Fantasy game completely unspoiled. I never read any news articles. I haven’t seen any reviews. I haven’t even watched a trailer.

After years of either covering gaming directly, or having it in my peripheral vision because of PC or tech writing, this is a super refreshing feeling!!

(Also, the first physical game I’ve purchased in forever, and definitely not the last)
