And I'll be honest and say at this point I honestly think we get too up in arms when it comes to things like blackface existing in older media to the point that we feel we have to erase it from existence. We are too scared to accept our past, and feel we have to erase it rather than just let it stay in the sunlight. In today's world it holds nowhere near as much power as it did. Nor should it.
