If it wasn't clear, this was about building secure, well crafted software.
One thing I've realized while building White Noise (my Signal/Telegram replacement) is that it's not the kind of app where you can release half-baked early versions.
There is a non-trival set of features around encryption and the privacy of groups & messages that is non-negotiable and must work well from the first real user.
The UI can be ugly, it can only do a subset of the full use case; but the parts it does, MUST be done properly and not leak data.
