"content": "I've been on many trails in the Rocky Mountains (CO and WY) and White #Mountains (NH) and the differences are striking. The ones in the Rockies tended to have moderate grades and switchbacks up the steep sections whereas the ones in the Whites have long sections that go straight up the mountain with boulders (think staircase!) and few switchbacks. Both types are lots of fun! #FootpathFriday #hiking #backpacking #nature #NaturePhotography #landscape #photography #LandscapePhotography #GetOutside\n\nhttps://media.mstdn.social/media_attachments/files/113/488/552/592/994/907/original/7ef17a5ae7c9a382.jpg\nhttps://media.mstdn.social/media_attachments/files/113/488/555/731/803/559/original/945f570c0aa52b36.jpg",
