Well, except that one day when Sientje disappeared. I thought I heard her, faintly, but in spite of thorough searches she could not be found. She had to be inside but inside could also mean the attic.
At the end of the evening, she manifested vocally at the door. I let her in, she was covered in soot and spider webs and maybe spider corpses. Right then, I knew where she had been. I covered the entrance to the small attic shaft the very next day.
