The global market for commercial aeroplanes is essentially a duopoly of Boeing & Airbus... and right now, not least of all due to Boeing's self-inflicted travails, Airbus is doing a lot better than its rival at supplying new orders for aircraft.
Whether this demonstrates the superiority of the semi-state conglomerate structure of Airbus, or merely Boeing's miss-steps is another matter.
