The implication [even if you didn’t mean it that way] in your remark was that the really awful ministers were persons of colour. I’m making the point that being pale skinned absolutely does not absolve people from being awful. I venture to suggest that we paler people set the bar in awfulness many generations ago, and we are still doing it. Good and bad mindsets come in all colours. This cabinet is rather pale, for now.
