Hey, #AskFedi: a friend of mine is keen to participate more on Mastodon, but absolutely hates the fact that links to posts on their own servers don't result in a page they can like and boost from without logging into their own server through it or doing URL trickery.

What workarounds do people typically use to counter this annoyance? Is there a good browser plugin that redirects Mastodon links to be viewed on your home server, or gives you a button to do it? Boosts and all suggestions welcome.
