In fairness to Keir Starmer, his relatively prompt action to return (or pay for) gifts received - well £6,000 of them - suggests some difference between his attitudes & those of members of the previous Govt.

Some of you will no doubt see this as a partial & cyclical move to try to draw a line under an annoying set of media revelations.... but, I'm happy to give him the benefit of the doubt (on this at least) for now.
