i was adjacent to security researchers but i can swap that for "knowing general tooling" and still get things done in the company, if only others were able to cooperate. the shame is, companies "support" foss but don't eat their dog food. foss is a distraction to their short-term profits
and yeah, most of my security knowledge is blue-team lol, i should approach from the other side but it'd require a lot of time on my end
