When asked about what #solarpunk visions have to offer in terms of governance, I have one answer:

Agency.

However anarchist or structural a Solarpunk vision is, it can bring people the agency and the feeling that no one is deciding above their heads.

This is what currently destroys a lot of big, environmental proposals like the Green Deals and pushes people towards populism.

They want to feel a sense of agency.

They need a vision of the future in which they have it.
