If you're on a Mac and having issues with connectivity or peripherals, apparently Sonoma 14.4 broke a bunch of USB/thunderbolt stuff (along with a lot more). 14.4.1 is out, but if that doesn't work, connect the component directly if you're able, rather than through a hub or dock.
