I know it's not going to help with humidity, but I have given up with DHT11 and DHT22 modules - they were all over the place. Building them outside the case (and away from the miniscule amount of heat created by the power supply and microcontroller) helped considerably, but where I don't need humidity, switching to DS18B20 was a good move - much more reliable, consistent and accurate.
Where I want temperature *and* humidity, the little Tuya Zigbee sensors are great.
